Beautiful museum, must visit! It is pretty huge though, so you might need more hours to fully experience and analyze every room. But it is totally worth it, really cool!

Afternoon visit with the family while on Bucharest for holidays. The Antipa museum is a famous science spot for kids and grownups alike, with beautiful dioramas of animals and plants from all over the world - some unique specimens acquired in the 50s and 70s...More

This is the sort of museum I would recommend to families with children. The museum is sadly very linear and the ambiance is a bit dull. The displays are very well made, enacting “realistic” scenarios and manage to tell a “story” and a lesson at...More

Nice to visit if you have kids, a lot of staffed animals, smell of naphthalene and not to much info from the tour guides.

This is one of the best Natural History museum, located in Bucharest. We went there by chance, on the way to Herastrau Park and were amazed by it. You can explore there the animals and fishes from all the world and times. They even recreated...More

Great place to see the result of hundreds of years of Romanian research in biology, anthropology and ecology. Temporary exhibitions give it an even more attractive touch. Allow an hour if not longer to cover all areas as it worth doing it. Even if this...More

The Grigore Antipa Museum is a worthwhile visit, if you are a fan of such institutions. It cannot compete with counterparts in other European capitals (Berlin, Vienna and Moscow come to mind here) for the breadth of the collection displayed, but it does a good...More

There is no need for any identity to be shown for entry, but it is wise as a tourist to carry your passport or ID with you. I don't carry one myself as an expat, but better to be safe than sorry if a visitor.
