A dramatic display of man's struggle with nature - a man fighting a snake. At this square are Klovićevi dvori - the largest gallery institution in Croatia.

As i said in the title, it's a spot easy to miss. It's near the old town, on your way to the Broken relationship Museum.

This sqare of the upper town of Zagreb is located at the ex Jesuit monastery now hosting excibitions.Jesuites were the first to build a monastery at Gradets and also a shcool and a hospital.

Definitely the magic of Zagreb can be felt everywhere. The place is interesting and has its own atmosphere.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why this place is called a square. To me, it just looks like a slightly crooked street - perhaps a shortcut between the Stone Gate and St. Catherine's Church. Either that, or a makeshift parking lot....More
