What an amazing place to visit. Great atmosphere with a lot of tradition and Ottoman culture. Bascarsija is buzzing with amazing bars, restaurants, cafes and small boutique shops. Dont miss feeding the pigeons at Bascarsija square and having a traditional Bosnian coffee.
Bascarsija, or Old Town as we tourists call it, is a must see in Sarajevo. Right in the Center of the city filled with shops and restaurants. Looks like both locals and tourists love this place as did we.
If you want to eat local speciality like cevapcici in lepinja (kind of bread) or other this is the place to visit. Or if you would like to buy some souvenir or just some new woman designer bag or a footbal uniform...
