We stopped at this beautiful village as part of our tour from Dubrovnik to Sarajevo. Note that if you join a tour, they would likely drive you up the hill to the viewpoint and you could walk down. This road was so small, I don't...More

Well worth a visit. You can walk among the ruins of the old fort, see the modern day village as well as the river and main road. It's very photogenic. There is some climbing involved.

A lovely stop, medieval village with a mosque that you can enter and visit for 1.50euros per person and a tower that you can climb up for a beautiful view. You can also see the ruins of the old hamam of the village. Would recommend...More

This was our 1st stop while in Bosnia, it is a real beauty, a small town in the middle of an amazing landscape. The locals are really kind and offer the most delicious organic cherries, strawberries and pomegranate juice, all perfect for the weather.

Small and pretty place. I heard there is a public bus to visit here but its interval seems a bit irregular. I visited through a tour and had nice time in this small castle. It has very good view toward the river.

Worth the visit if you are staying nearby. A lot of history and a cosy little place where you can spend some hours.

I was going on a day trip to Bosnia from Croatia, where they stopped for a quick break here. Stony walk path, and loads of small vendor stalls with Honey, fruits at very reasonable price. As we walked for like 5 minutes, we found all...More

Nice little fortress village on the way to Mostar worth the quick stopover. There is a really nice bakery on the parking (right after the town, or before pending where you’re coming from!) - recommend grabbing a few local treats from there for lunch :)

This is a former fort with a small settlement inside, though the number of families are dwindling. We were given a tour of this place by i-House Travel - we started at the lookout point and walked down, past the ruined turret, all the way...More

When driving from Dubrovnik to Mostar, Pocitelj makes a convenient and interesting rest stop. Containing both Christian and Muslim architecture, it's a nice preview of what you will see on a grander scale in Mostar. I wouldn't rate Pocitelj as a "must see" attraction, but...More
