If you are around montevideo in the summer, this place is good to watch some carnival build up shows where you will have masses of people young and old enjoying the music and vibes. Also some live bands play here and it has fairly decent...More

The shows at this outdoor theater are awesome, the carnaval shows and the musical guests are wonderful. The theater/stage is very cool but the seating is a just a concrete bench. It is a great outdoor venue but check the weather before you buy tickets.

Carnival in Uruguay is said to be the longest in the world, proceeding throughout fourty days. Not anything like Rio, Venezia, or Munich, anyway. In Montevideo, besides some shows in a few quarters of the City and desfiladas in some inland cities, Murgas and Candombe...More

The weather has to be good and you have to pick a good concert as it is closed when there are no concerts. At night, under the stars is one of the nicest experiences you can have in the summer in MOntevideo.
