This market is very quaint and very cute with great local items to sell. In my opinion, it is the cheapest market by far when comparing it to Cusco markets or Aguas Calientes market. The people were very nice and no where near as pushy...More

This is a cute little market even though it doesn't have anything different to other traditional Peruvian markets. Still nice to gather a few trinkets for souvenirs and have a browse!

Friendly people and nice market in Ollantaytambo. Nice variety of good but, very similar to other markets but smaller.

Great setting in a cool little town to meander and check out. We took a mototaxi (they're so cool) from the train station to the square and wandered the streets for beautiful views of the mountains. Didn't have time to do the ruins unfortunately.

We walked through the market on a whim. While we didn't buy anything it was nice to look without too much pressure. 30-40% of the stalls were closed. Only take a few minutes to do the full circuit.

These markets are just so interesting. Never sure how authentic the articles are but always fun to browse and look for something unique. Part of the local culture and therefore good to visit.

Mercado Artesanal in Ollantaytambo is located just outside of the temple and as it is located very close to a touristic site, the prices are a bit higher and there is a tourist hunt. If you go there at the end of the day you...More

Found the goods here to be on the more expensive side. A lot of the same souvenirs you'd find at the other plazas. Worth a walk through.

but it is another market. you can buy everything here going from souvenirs to cloths, herbs, food, coca. It is very colourful: people as well as the market. Locals are very nice and are not pushing to sell. You need to negotiate with them to...More

You can buy everything that you'd find in the usual tourist mercado artesanal in Peru here. Easily found as it's at the entrance of the main ruins. Prices were similar to Cusco. They offered an "alpaca" scarf for 30 soles. About 3 rows of stalls...More

Every market in the Cusco area is an interesting experience, and this wasn't the exception. There are better markets in the area though, this one is Small, nice, but not cheap
