Lima Historical Center is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. Amazing architecture, massive cathedrale, lots of streets with balconies. I walked some hours there, went up to the Central Market and China Town. Very safe (at least in day time), police is all over the...More

We enjoyed walking around this old part of Lima. Felt safe even though it was a “real” experience. Lots of churches and old buildings to take photos of.

Not remarkable, but nonetheless very attractive and busy. Lima is architecturally quite pleasing and spacious. Visiting Lima and not this part of town would defeat the purpose of any meaningful time spent. It's usually included in every public tour offering.

Pleasant streets to walk and view Colonial architecture. Impressive, albeit typical of Spanish Conquests of a country - grand on a scale unexpected. Certainly a drawing point to locals and tourists alike.

One huge tip, do NOT use Taxis, do not use public transportation, UBER is super cheap there, and they are there within a few minutes if that long
