A safe area, more reasonably priced places to eat and stay than in the Plaza de Las Armas and relatively quiet at night.

Great plaza to chill and watch people. Cool artists around and lots of good food and coffee. Great city views as well.

I keep returning to this area, it’s away from the crowds around other parts or Cusco which is refreshing, there’s also not the constant requests to purchase a massage or jewelry or paintings up there either. However that aside the area is just divine. There’s...More

Most of the small shops are open until 9pm, especially the ones in the center, near Plaza de Armas. The markets, though, close at 5pm.
