The views of this Volcano is just amazing! A must visit if you visit Arequipa. You can see this literally from any part of the city!

It's a breath taking volcano. You can see it rising up behind the city everywhere. It is a beautiful natural phenomenon.

We had a great view of Misti from Mirador Carmen Alto location. Misti is a old volcano with a height of 5,822 m / 19,101 ft. Quite spectacular to see.

We did a cycling descent of el misti which was great and unexpectedly also included a visit to the salt lake. Jack was the kind of chilled English speaking guide that you would want to do all of your tours in Peru with. Perhaps we...More

A friend and myself decided we’d attempt to climb El Misti and after looking around at 3 other agencies this was by far the cheapest and most stable sounding option. We paid 260 soles each for the entire trip including gear hire so it was...More

If you wanted to draw a picture of a volcano, this is probably what you'd draw - an almost perfect cone shape rising out of the altiplano, and surrounded by other hills and peaks. There's a huge area in the countryside around Arequipe where you...More

Called here on the way the Chivay. This visit was spoilt by the bus drivers strike in the town of Chivay. Blocking all the roads into the area and putting stones on the ground. Not a good promotion for the area. Not coming back again...More

We didn't climb it, so I don't know them, but if you Google "trekking companies El Misti Peru" you'll find numerous options and you could probably also get ratings for them on TripAdvisor.
