A very peaceful spot inside the city: silence is great, there s a small ecosystem that makes the place more fresh than the streets or plazas during the day, nice for shopping restind or jumping from roof to roof

Nice place with some reataurants and bars close. The building self is not very special. Not worth the detour if you ask me.

Just off the main plaza in Arequipa, the Jesuit Churh should be on one's list. We spent an hour there (waiting for the Cathedral tours to start). It was well worth the time. The main sanctuary has many reglious images on the towering altar and...More

This is a charming cloistered courtyard with some nice souvenir shops and a popular cafe. The coffee (also on sale at a stall by the entrance) was delicious and has won lots of awards.

We stumbled on this while wandering around the central area; accessed through a dim tunnel like entryway which looked interesting. It opened onto a stunning large courtyard with a fountain feature in the middle. Very pretty indeed. We couldn’t get to the Compagnia church from...More

We came here on a suggestion to see the chapel, but also very much enjoyed the architecture and the view looking at the Snow capped mountains far away. There are some nice shops of alpaca products, staff are very friendly. For any purpose, come visit.

An early visit rewards the traveller with a bit of a sanctuary from the busy-ness of the city outside. Beautifully maintained, extensive complex.

As mentioned before the halle complex is a must, the barro que church is beautiful but the jewel in the crown is the Sacristy that is acceded from the cloisters

Worth to see, take a break and drink a coffee. But there is not a lot to do. Just a rest. Despite of that I fully recomended this place.
