This was a really good museum portrayal of an intriguing story. It was 'brought to life' by the initial film show and then the tour takes you through the details of what is a legendary tale about one sacrificial victim.

We visited here mainly to view the Juanita Mummy, the well preserved frozen body of a young Incan sacrifice victim. I, personally, found the experience a little disturbing. The museum also houses a number of artifacts found during the expedition that discovered Juanita.

From what i can see in Google, the hours are 9am to 6pm. With Juanita, I would check first as they do remove her for a few months of the year and replace her with one of the other Ice Mummies. Hope this helps
