Visiting Cuenca is always so pleasant; its people, the weather, its sites, the views, the food and the vibe is welcoming! Watching the children at the park enjoying an ice cream or taking family pictures, or having an espumilla exiting church, just wonderful! Coming back...More

I love just sitting on one of the benches here and walking the people -- and there are also things to do, depending on the day: the occasional concert for example.

This is probably the most popular park/square in Cuenca. There are a lot of trees and benches to sit and relax. On Sunday there was a live band and there seemed to be a lot going on on Sunday near the Cathedral. There is a...More

During festivals the...More

This park represents the heart of Cuenca so please don't miss it. Sometimes, as yesterday evening, you can find young people dancing urban music (hip hop), which gives this place a special plus.

very nice park in the center of El Centro with interesting churches and buildings around it to be explored. Check out the mural and current art exhibits at the Governors House opposite the park

The plaza is a natural center of Cuenca. It has a beautiful landscape, and it draws people in for festivals and hanging out every day. It's a remarkable place, and surrounding it are the two most important and scenic cathedrals in the city.

This is the beautiful plaza in the center of Cuenca known as El Centro. It is beautifully landscaped. There are various kinds of little shops around it. The flower market nearby is particularly pretty.
