I need to point out that I have no idea if the art and museum are any good! Both google and our guide book said that this place was open until 6pm. We tried to get on the website several times beforehand, but it was...More

No one we met had been to these 2 places, but it was the best site in Quito, imo. I don't even like the art, but what the artist expresses is astonishing, a passionate and involved artist, dealing with important and difficult social issues. This...More

We really enjoyed our visit. The guided tours explained so much about the paintings and the house. Photos are forbidden which I understand but is a shame as there are no postcards of the interior spaces which are dramatic.

We left early. All the sadness is depressing. It is one thing to make a statement, but another to offer no hope. Both halves of the faces seemed the same. The paintings are displayed well.
