Located in Santiago de Chile, overlooking the Andes Mountains and old Dominico Monastery compound become a craft center with small shops connected by alleys, beautiful jewelry and artisan pieces. Coffee or tea is also available in small cafes.

Such a unique place with wonderful Chilean arts and crafts. So beautiful and Stunning and each store unique. A very relaxed place loved the garden setting and the cats.

We are in the last part of our trip and I was looking for a good place to buy some gifts. We stopped here for about two hours and I am happy we did. While some of the items appeared a bit pricey, I found...More

What used to be a kind of ranch (hacienda) is conserved in it's original state, and transformed to a little village where each little boutique offers handcrafts of all kind, pretty good quality, not the souvenir shop type. The whole place is bathed in trees...More

May be not all the hand-made is made in El Pueblito, but in some store you can see the artisan working in his souvenir!

Some of the shops were interesting but the entire affair lacked a sophistication that I expected. It was easy to reach on the metro and was worth a short visit as a few of the shops were above average.

Nice handicraft village, short walk from Las Dominicos metro station (just head east towards the cathedral). Lots of little stores to look in, each one is different. Has a couple of food places to have a bite as well.

Pleasant but overpriced open-hair rip-off for tourists. However it's better than going to a mall, in my opinion.

Truly enjoyed walking around and looking at all the wonderful talents that the Chilean people have. We especially received great hospitality from Monica Nunez Enrique's and the fine jewelry she has to offer.

Hi I did not buy a painting at the market but some of the artisans work there on site so you can see the work is authentic and speak with the artist first hand. As far as valuation goes I would make sure I did my research... More

Si estas alejado del lugar, la mejor alternativa es ir en el Metro, de allí queda a unas 3 cuadras, el traslado es muy cómodo, si estas por la zona de Las Condes también se puede hacer en un taxi, buena suerte
