Not too many Chinese goods, a lot of local knits, and Lapis Lazuli. The bargaining is no more than 5% . They do take dollars. Watch and be careful of the exchange rate.

Disapointed everything is super expensive, I felt that the tourist get exploited. Was looking for Lapis Lazuli jewelry, could not believe my eyes, how they tried to take advantage in tripling the price for a simple necklace. Looking for Lapis please don't buy in chile...More

Every year in Chile we head back to this little market for a few gifts. They have your standard nick-nacks but also a few stands with high ends mill work, leather and shoes. Few little snack shops and a coffee bar are in it too....More
