Walked to funicular from hotel. Interesting ride to watch city appear as funicular ascended from trees. Viewing area at the top showed Santiago in 270 degrees. Hike up to chapel and statue not bad and definitely worth it. Whole park to visit from here including...More

We spent the afternoon in the park, taking the cable car up (& back down) the hill. This tiny little chapel is perched on top of the hill and affords great panoramic views over Santiago.

It's the most interesting place to be in Santiago because of the view of the whole city and the Andes! The funicular is a very fun way to get there.

This is a must see attraction in Santiago. Specially best in early morning or at sunset, in order to see best views.

This hill dominates central Santiago and provides a welcome break from the busy city fir a few hours. We would recommend getting there early to avoid the queues - around 09:30 would be fine. The funicular and cable car return trip costs about 5,000 pesos...More

It's hard to beat the views from this hill, in additional to the many shrines and the very impressive statue of the Virgin Mary at the very top. With the added fun of a Teleferico ride now added, it is a must for any visitor...More

The experience usually starts with a funicular ride toward the top. Depending on the number in line, you may wait a bit at the bottom. The first stop is a zoo. Once atop, the views of the city are pretty good, the degree of haze...More

Hi, Do you mean the funicular train up to the top? It's CLP 2,000 round-trip. But I am not sure about the Zoo.
