Our group was a great mix of people from different countries....I don't think we had more than one person/couple from the same country.
Our guide MJ was fantastic, very knowledgeable of the area and she looked like she enjoyed showing us around town. Treating it more like a passion than a job.....I would recommend the tour for anyone to get around town and seeing the some of the main attractions of the city.

Marcella was a wealth of information and gave a great tour of Santiago. We went on both tours offered and got a great overview of the city. I highly recommend both of these tours. I am sure all of the guides are great but if you are really lucky you will get Marcella! The recommendation (and great encouragement ) to try the Pastel de Choclo was much appreciated! Five star tour!!

Great Tour, our guide Maria Jose (MJ) was a wealth of information on Chilean history and culture. The tour was well organized and even though it was a big group MJ handled us well and I never had an issue hearing her. As we all were English speaking it made it easier, as MJ only had to do the one language. Tour took about 3 and 1/2 hours.

Johan of Wally’s walking tours provided a memorable experience walking around historic Santiago. He was so knowledgeable and provided so much history, background and facts about Chile, in additional to the architecture and descriptions of buildings. We leave with a better understanding of the govt, people and country.
Johan was patient, funny, answered all questions thoroughly and gave an excellent tour.

Cannot recommend this tour enough! MJ was outstanding in her enthusiasm and presentation of so many aspects of Chilean history and culture. A well thought out presentation that starts at the very beginning which is easy to follow through the streets of Santiago as time progresses to the current day. What an incredible asset this young lady is to Chile! A great ambassador for this amazing country. An absolute must do!

We enjoyed a great walking tour hosted by Maria Jose ( MJ). The group was mainly Spanish speaking but MJ was well capable of keeping both Spanish speaking & English speaking guests informed & engaged all through the tour. We covered a lot of the main sights of historical significance in the historical centre while getting a great history lesson. We also visited Lastarria before ending across the river in Bellavista at the funicular to Cerro San Cristobel.
MJ also gave us lunch recommendations & could not have been more helpful.
It is a great introduction to Santiago.

I went on a tour with Maria Jose as our guide today. She was so knowledgeable about everything that she was talking about, it was quite incredible! All the years and dates and historical facts... And really humble about it all as well! I feel like I learnt a lot about Santiago from the walk. I didn't realise that 3 hours had gone by, it was so entertaining and educational! The group wasn't big so everybody had a chance to ask questions etc. We also got to try a local drink (I really want to say it's called mote con huesillo). Would definitely recommend this tour! :)

Hello, do we need to book or do we just turn up? I may have missed this but I could not see where the free walking tours in Santiago start and finish and whether there is a difference between the Am & PM tours
Thanks

You just turn up, a few minutes early. I did the afternoon tour, but I think there's no difference between that and the morning one. Mine was excellent. We met near the cathedral in Plaza de Armas. Look for the guides wearing their red T-shirts.

Buen día. Quisiera saber cómo se llama la empresa para realizar el free walking tour de Santiago de Chile en la que trabaja Valentino al que muchos mencionan en los comentarios. Muchas gracias.

Olá!
O tour também é feito em português?

Não me lembro de tem essa opção. Nós fizemos em espanhol mas como há muitos turistas brasileiros, a guia sabia explicar algumas expressões em português e falava bem devagar para que todos compreendessem.
