During our Global Travels, we take time to visit local Houses of worship. Catedral de Puerto Montt is an interesting visit, and we recommend.

Having been to see the German colonisation statues it was just a short walk across the Plaza de Armas to visit the cathedral.

We went there on a Sunday when they had Sunday service, everything is made out of wood. Outside is prettier than inside. A bit dark inside because of dark wood. It's in the center of the town.

It was closed when we visited, but the outside is a wooden structure with touches of a Greek temple. The wood is left natural and the bell tower is stylish and fits with the architecture
