The day after trekking to the Fitz Roy, came the Cerro Torre. It was 20km hike and like the Fitz Roy I recommend an early start. The earlier you get there, increases your chances of less tourist. I thought the trek was easier than the...More

This is a great hike if you are in the area. We spent the whole day on the mountain. This is definitely a must-do activity if you are in Patagonia.

The hike to Mt. Fitz Roy and Laguna de los Tres is definitely the must-do hike from El Chalten, but this is a beautiful mountain and the hike is much more moderate. The mountain is in view (on a good weather day) for a majority...More

Second great hiking tour from El Chalten to the view of Cerro Torre, it takes you by nice valley with some main viewpoints, but all the time you can look around and be amazed.
