A deceptively large museum, jam packed with memorabilia etc from the Falklands war and referendum. We also liked the section about the Antarctic. There are also smaller little outbuidlings with other things to see. Well worth a visit.

The Historic Dockyard Museum is a must if you want to understand the Falklands and its history. The audio-visual on the 1982 war is very good. It's certainly worth the 5-pounds entry fee.

I was a bit sceptical at first about the museum, for it seemed quite small from the outside; however, once one gets in, one can see that every bit of space is thoroughly used to convey accurately and with plenty of detail the islands' rich...More

We went to this museum on the recommendation of a friend. The people were very friendly and helpful and the museum was completely free if you showed your cruise card. There was much to see and the movie about the war was excellent. It was...More
