I personally have never dive with Gaia love but in the nearby future i would totally love to try it as seen on padi website I looks like a comfortable nice luxury dive boat,5 star food.a big nice deck to chill out after you dive and a small comfy room to relax and sleep after a dive, it personally says on padi diving website it takes you to top diving destination around Indonesia with a very affordable price tag and on top of that get good local dive guides

The resort is well maintained and definately a cut above normal dive resorts.
The Dive Centre has very friendly staff and helpful dive instructors. Of particular I would like to recommend Josh who is a divemaster at the resort.

I had an excellent refresher course with Nina. Excellent organization and service to book and prepare for the course with Sophia.
The refresher with in Outram secondary school pool.
Nina did the course. I had a lot to refresh and she did an outstanding job to remind me the basics after 18 months without diving. Thank you so much.

We made a few dives from the house reef, unique direct into the sea access ramp from diving center ! The water was not always clear but we saw corals of different types, fishes, small rays, turtle, black tip shark and went to the small boat wreck.
The equipment was recent, in very good condition. Nice instructor with us, who did point a few hidden animals or remarquable underwater features.
Nice snorkelling direct from the beach as well, the corals are protected and growing, various types of anemons with clown fishes

OrcaNation is more than just a dive company. In fact, I was told by Cameron OrcaNation Co-Manager in Rawa, OrcaScuba changed it's name to OrcaNation in order to better encompass all the company offers. Committed to marine conservation and experiential education, their dive instructors teach not only how to dive safely, but how to conduct marine research and macro and micro plastic surveys.

Hi Fred! Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us such a kind review. We take a lot of pride in our commitment to marine conservation and education, and we're glad you appreciate it! At OrcaNation, we strive to be as safe as possible while teaching our students not only about diving, but about how to save and protect the ocean as well. We're happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience and we hope to have you back again soon!

We've visited Rawa Island twice with overseas guests the last 6 weeks, both times was to get our friend and young godchild to get back to diving, Padi refresher course and learn how to dive, Padi Junior Open Water. The dive instructors, staff are very friendly, responsible and professional. The dive equipment in very good condition and in all sizes available. Theiw conservation efforts to be applauded. As we're seasoned divers ourselves and pretty spoiled, we were pleasantly surprised at the good conditions of the many hard corals and u/w life in general. Visibilty fantastic, though all shallow dives from the sparkling while beach. The jetty dive is a stunner with big schools of fish and full of critters. It is THE place to go to learn how to dive living in KL or Singapore or even overseas. The students from schools all over the region seemed to have an abfab time with their Orca scuba course and instructors. The resort is lovely, lush greens, white beach, playgrounds for the younger ones. Food excellent, the rooms, bungalows lovely and resort staff very welcoming and warm. I can fully recommend this lovely place in Malaysia which is our home, though KL a little far away for just a weekend trip, 4 hours drive plus. Make it 3 days at least!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a wonderful and detailed review, we truly appreciate the feedback! We are thrilled that you enjoyed your time at the resort as well as diving with us and we are so glad we could accommodate you as well as your friends and family. We love to show all divers what Rawa has to offer and are delighted when our divers appreciate not only the health of the corals but also the smallest of creatures that we find off of our house reef. We hope that you visit us again soon and take care!

My boyfriend and I started our diving adventure with OrcaNation in Singapore, and we are super happy with our choice:)
We chose to take our Open PADI certificates via a 2 weekends course: 1st weekend in Singapore, and second in Rawa Island- a beautiful resort just 3 hours by car from Singapore.
From the first weekend we were impressed by the knowledge and kindness of the instructors, as we spent half a day talking about theory and really understand all the concept. After that we practiced in a 4m depth pool in Singapore, that was a very good preparation for the next weekend in Rawa, where we dived in the ocean for the first time. Being in Rawa, I was a bit nervous practicing some skills (especially the mask one) but Sam (the Orca instructor there) really had a lot of patience and helped me build up my confidence:)
They have a lot of groups of 10+yo, so I believe the instructors are very skilled and patient, as they are used to work with kids.
Great team, very profesional and great experience!!:)

Great dudes, chilled and safe. Was great Diving with them. Explained a lot and you feel really safe. I didn’t dive for 20 years, so I was a bit scared on the first day. But after the first dive I was back in the flow.thank you!

Outstanding facility for families to learn to dive together in an idyllic, paradise setting. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. The diving was easy with very pretty corals and lots of marine life. Visibility was a little cloudy, but the dive sites more than made up for that!

Hey I would like to ask will I be able to see manta rays or whale sharks with an open water diver certificate? If not what will I be able to see?
Thanks,
Noora

Hi Noora,
Our family of 5 (kids ages 14, 12 and 10) all have the Open Water Diver certification and we saw a Whale Shark just this week with Orcanation at Komodo National Park. It was about 8-10m down. We were in the right vicinity to see Manta Rays too but unfortunately were not lucky on this occasion. The Open Water Certificate gives you access to an enormous amount that you cannot see just by snorkelling. Hope this helps, Kate.

Hi Jesse, thank you for sending us your question. SCUBA Diving starts at 8 years old with Bubblemakers (down to 2 meters in the ocean). At 5 years old kids can experience the sensation of diving by completing a SASSY. This is at the surface with full equipment.

Hello There,
Thank you for reaching out to us! Orca Scuba is located on a private island. There is a resort with 77 rooms, called Rawa Island resort. We organise all dive activities and the resort is a separate booking. When would you be looking at visiting us? What is your certification level and when was your last dive?
