It boasts of being bigger than the London Eye, but only just. And in every other aspect, it is inferior. The Flyer has been plagued by technical problems since the start.

One of the worst managed attractions in Singapore. They do not inform you on their website that there may be a 3 hours wait even though you pre-purchased you ticket. They do not allow you to select a time slot while booking. There are snaking queues and the 1 meter social distancing is not followed. Worst experience in efficient Singapore

Amazing views! Yes you can also go to Ku de ta (or Ce la vi as they are called now), but similar view. But flyer is flyer.

Singapore Flyer is a must go attraction which gives a panoramic view of the city. The ride is around 45 minute and very smooth. It is the second highest Ferris wheel in the world and the capsules are very spacious. We went there during the day time with a child and had a wonderful time.

Unable to fly on our first booking due to bad weather, we were delighted to fly on the second date. Temperature taken, masks worn, and capsules held reduced numbers , making us feel very safe. The views are great, staff helpful and an interactive display well done.

Process to get to the ride was disappointing...long queue and could not book timing slots on advance.
The actual ride was nice...took about 40 mins but the downside for us was we had to queue for over an hour.

Beautiful view of Singapore. Love the current situation which they do not squeeze so many people into each cabin. Strongly recommended to visit now.

If you’re into Formula One, you surely have seen this giant panoramic wheel during the Singapore Grand Prix, the one held in the nighttime. From this wheel you can admire Singapore in all her majesty and beauty!

Haven't been here in awhile, really great view of the Singapore skyline. A little warm in the day but that's how it is in Singapore. Really recommend anyone to come back here if you haven't visited for awhile.

Is bringing an infant (1 year old) advisable?
David B

Hi, with the infant I assume you will be carrying anyway. The capsules are quite big and there are seats inside. So shouldn’t be a problem.
Sometimes the capsules are almost empty, but even if it is busy the attendants are very good anyway and limit the number of people per capsule, usually no more than 10 pax if not only 6 or 8.
Just remember the trip takes about 30 minutes.
But we always recommend the flyer to our visitors, it is a good introduction to Singapore’s sights and distant districts.

When is it best to go on the flyer, day time or night time?

Day or night. Depends on what you want to see. Great views of city and area during day. But view of city at night is excellent as well.
We were up when we could see some storms far off in horizon so it was cool.

I will be visiting Singapore solo and would like to ride the Flyer. As a solo rider, should I expect to share the cabin with others, or do they allow solo travelers their own cabin? Planning to go around sunset or just after sunset on a weeknight. Thanks!

I agree with the other respondents, if you want to travel alone then I would recommend early in the morning just after opening as the place is very quiet at that time. I went at that time and my partner and I were the only ones there so we had no one in the car with us, the wheel is constantly moving so they can't wait for others to come along.
The busiest time for the Singapore Flyer is just before and after sunset, as people want to see the sun go down and the lights come on all around the Marina Sands Bay area, which has some spectacular lighting, along with all the business district high rises makes for some stunning vista's, which is why it is so busy at this time.

Hello Guys! I would like to take my mom and dad in the Singapore flyer this coming July. Is 6:30 pm a good time for a Singapore Experiemce Flyer? Thank you very much!

I think anytime is a great time to ride. Have done day and evening. If you time it right you can see the light shows at gardens by the Bay and in Marina Bay by Marina Bay Sands. Buy tickets online in advance and miss the lines at ticket booth. Lighter crowds Monday through Thursday.
