Enchanted by Sweet Enchantment especially for someone like me who does not have a sweet tooth. Truly love the varieties one can find and try in the shop which is conveniently located in Vivo City. Candy-making process can be viewed at different times of the day too.

I was shopping at Vivo City and came across this rock candy shop tucked somewhere at the back of the mall. Rock candy is not new in Singapore but what I really like about this store is that they use natural flavours. You'll taste the difference once you've tried it. The staff there were really friendly and let me tried so many different types. They've got really interesting flavours too, like the White Grape, Earl Grey, Sakura, Lemon Tea, Honeydew, Champagne, Lavender, Rose. All of them were so nice, and I bought the earl grey and sakura.

There is also a live demonstration section where you can see the candy makers make the candies on the spot!

I think these make lovely gifts for weddings and birthday parties cos the candies can be personalised with your design / names.

Location - Nestled in VivoCity, one of Singapore's larger shopping malls (near Sentosa) Not easy to find. It's a small shop front on the first floor near the back of the mall facing the waterfront. Close to the soon-to-be opened Jaime Oliver's Kitchen.

What do you see? - Sweet Enchantment is a quaint shop front which sells all-natural rock candies that the owners craft from start (boiling of sugar) to the end (crafting, rolling and chopping).

It's a unique experience and definitely worth the 1+ hour watching the whole process. Reminds me on why we loved candy when we were young.

What else? - the candy, according to the lolliologists, are made from all-natural ingredients and no artificial Colouring or flavours are used. Flavours are unique - such as Japanese Yuzu, Geranium Rose, French Champagne and even Jamaican Rum! Very interesting.

Makes for a good gift for any occasion at below SGD6.00.
