Multi story affordable shopping and window shopping. i got 1 hour glasses on ground floor, with a fantastic optomotrist. I like this place. It's an adventure. Totally unpretentious. Yes it's old but who cares. It has character. if you're a pretentious snob, this place is not for you.

Visited house of time watches shop to replace my watch battery.
They struggled to open my watch case, and after 20mins the shop owner (a couple) requested me to leave my watch behind because they had lend the special tool to someone and not gotten back yet. I collected back my watch and instantly feedback that they had badly damaged my watch case (rounded), dishonest shop owner told me this was not caused by them. They had struggled to open my watch back case using unfit tool and the damaged was not caused by them?🤨
Before they work on my watch, they claim that they have the special tool and had replaced this type of watch battery many times before. But after struggling to open the back cover, they then said tool is with someone else.
Be mindful if you planning to visiting Lucky Plaza to replace your watch battery at House of time watches @ Basement 1. The shop owner is unscrupulous.

One of the oldest shopping malls along orchard road. Had a fairly meaningless revamp in the 1980s or 1990s, and frozen in time since. No shop or restaurant of note

We came here to look at the food displays which were a little interesting. I do not recommend this shopping area as your number one destination in town.

This is an affordable place to buy stuff, kind of a find in an upscale neighborhood where many of the stores are expensive. If you are visiting and need some supplies, stop in here.

If you are like me that can't afford to buy things in ION Orchard except for the Uncle Chieng Ice Cream, you might want to go to the lucky plaza. Here you can find cheap asian food court 1 level down from McD, I buy nasi hainan and nasi lemak for $4-$5. You also should go to $1 store nearby the food court as they sell cheap snack!!!

Great 'cheaper' stores (even a fire sale shop). as there are lots of expensie shops in Singapore this place makes a change. Macdonalds in the basement floor and lots of different stores to choose from. Change money at 3 different points (reasonable rates).

I have been visiting Lucky plaza since 1983 I think and it’s always been my favourite for good cheap shopping as well as hair cuts. It has grown and extended I think and I love the other side ION gold shopping as well. Taka jewellers is my favourite store there.
I will be back this year once again for more shopping and food ( the basement eatery is excellent )
Last travel date was in Jan 2019 but unfortunately the drop box does not have that option so I have used the nearest month .... It won’t allow me to post without that field filled in ... sorry for that tho. Trip advisor please take note to allow range of dates or months. Thanks. June D

Went up to L6 to explore the flea market, and the conclusion
- You need patience (to dig through the mountains of clothes)
- Mixture of secondhand and brand new clothes
- BN clothes retailing <10 sgd even for long dresses
- Decent quality (like cotton on quality in general) altho you do find some good secondhand stuff
- Dusty! Kept sneezing
- Have shoes, accessories, belts, blazers (not a lot), jackets etc
Can get quite crowded, enter if you're ok with the tsunami of humans!

On orchard road it’s probably one of the more affordable malls on the strip with no real top end retail outlets in the mall.
It’s not as clean as most other malls and I think had one of the worse food courts among the malls on Orchard road.
I wouldn’t recommend this mall to visit with better options available close by.

"An unique shopping plaza for the wrong reason": what's wrong with domestic helpers? they may be better partners than "good partner"!
