Never got tired of coming here. Everytime a new perspective to appreciate. It's the people, the cafes, the buildings or simply the space.

Excellent views particularly at night looking back to the city. Lots to do and see. Near to lots of choices for dinner or lunch

A good place where you can take a couple of pictures. Day or night both views are superb.
You may sit and relax while enjoying the background.

Great for an evening walk to the Esplanade and Merlion that have out door eateries to enjoy the skyline view and the buzz

Use a rental bike and cruise the scenery of Marina Bay Sands. Have a coffee at the MBS Promenande, cruise on and see Singapore from different angles.

The Marina Bay's only purpose to make small town boy like me to feel even smaller. Describing it as breath taking, jaw dropping or simply amazing is still an understatement. This is the place for glitzy high fliers to burn their easy earned cash and show off their jet set lifestyle but there's also plenty for us commoners to admire it from ground level promenade too.
The whole area has been built on reclaimed land but the most important part is the aesthetics that blows our tiny average minds. From planning to design, layout, facilities, maintenance and amount of attractions provided here feels like a overkill sometimes.
The laser lightshow alone is enough to keep me occupied for hours but then there's boat ride, giant ferris wheel, science museum, Gardens by the Bay, Merlion Park, sculptures, cafés, restaurants, five star hotels, shopping malls and of course in the centre of it all the iconic Sands.
I've never had so many wow moments in one day.

The best time to walk here is late afternoon into early evening. You'd be able to see the lights at night and if you're lucky, you can also see the laser display from MBS. Sit by the river, relax and just enjoy the moment with your loved one or family.

Is the light show at Marina Bay at 8pm visible from the Skypark Observation Deck? Thank you.

Yes and you should be able to see the 'super trees' from there too. We did get charged 20 dollars each to go on the observation deck, but you can put that towards the cost of a drink. We watched from the ground floor outside at the back. it was spectaular - although we did get slight wet, it was amazing.

Hi, is it better to watch the light show from outside the casino back towards the Fullerton Hotel or from the Fullerton hotel looking out towards the casino side?

You want to be watching the show from the back of the mall and casino and looking toward the Fullerton Hotel. The show literally takes place right there. To be honest there are no bad seats to view the show.

What time is the light and sound show? When is the best time to visit this place?

Light show is at eight and nine - but be sure to visit during the day. The shock of seeing a suspended ship atop three futuristic towers with the blue sky atop it is worth seeing.

just back from Singapore 3day break and Clarke Quay and the marina bay (hotel) aren't actually in the same area so not sure why people have said they are. Clark Quay is more in land and is a little cheesy selection of bars and restaurants. The waterfront promenade is about 20mins walk from Clarke Quay and then to walk to marina bay (hotel/shops etc) this is another good 20/25 min walk from the promenade (where the theatre is).. if you have a few hours you can walk and see everything but they aren't that near and it it a good 45 min walk from the Quay to MBS

How far is this attraction from where the cruise ship docks

I'm not sure of the exact distance but it's not far. There are many buses, the metro and cars that can take you. I would say it would take less than half hour by metro.

Not exactly sure how far. Probably best to take a taxi as they are reliable and not too expensive particulalry in the intense tropical heat.
