This great little monorail is free of charge. It comes along at regular intervals and people are well controlled at the stations. Hop on board and discover other parts of Sentosa, it is a very pretty place.
The Express conveniently connects you from MRT to Universal Studios and beaches. It runs every 10 minutes or so and my Garmin said its speed was 30-40 kph :-)

Depends on what you want to visit. Within Sentosa there are three stations which are accessible through the monorail. But in USS there’s some walking involved as the entire place has to be covered on foot and one has to stand in queue for at least 40-50 mins for each rides. You can purchase separate priority passes which will shorten the queue.
No, you have to buy tickets to get into Universal Studios. You can get these at Sentosa, just outside the entrance. The Sentosa Express costs S$5 from Vivo City, but once on Sentosa you can use it as much as you like.
Hi there, I've been there before10am (last Sep). Individual shops were closed when I arrived but escalators (and maybe some lifts) were operating. Just follow the 'sentosa express' sign and go straight to the 3rd floor ;)
