Through the meandering, steep and treacherous trail, the beauty of the Tappiya Falls awaits those who wanted to see it. The massive river fall from its brink, around 30 meters in height, is imposing. It seems that all the streams of the mountains convened together...More

The walk there is good, you can stay at about the same level as the touristy part of Batad as you walk across the rice terraces to the ridge on the opposite side then it's a steep downhill section of steps and you reach the...More

I booked a guide through my guest house at a cost of 1500P. From past reviews probably cheaper if booked at the village. From Top Viewpoint Homestay you can bypass having to descend down to the village, which is why I stayed here. Being over...More

Fun of chasing waterfalls, so there we are, stretching ourselves to those long and exhausting treks. It took us almost an hour to reach the falls, then, the gushing cool water soothed and give relief to our tired body. This is a must visit place...More

The Tappiyah Falls is the perfect end to your hike at Batad. The place is very refreshing and the water is quite clean. It is a good place to take a swim.

We booked the 2 day 1 night trek with our guesthouse in Banaue. This took us from Banaue to Pula, Cambulo and Batad. It was one of the best treks I have done. The views are amazing! The falls are beautiful and a great place...More

the place in located in Batad, 45 minutes walk down from Rice Terraces [going up is more painful], the best time to get there is aroung 3p.m. to see the sun hiding.

Situated at the bottom point of Batad rice terraces, and the farthest point of visit. Looks gorgeous and the swimming pool is quite refreshing although it's not good idea to swim closely to the falls.

This one is easy to reach, just like what my host told "just follow the concrete pavement". It's basically an easy trek up and down the terraces and then down to a canyon and you will see a rushing river.... follow the pavement opposite the...More

It is well worth the walk to get here. There are many steps and climbs but the waterfall is a rewarding sight. You can swim in it if you like, so bring some gear.

Steep stairs (but at least there are stairs) Tough for those who don't work out regularly (like me!) But it's worth it. Water is cold and refreshing and the falls are strong.
