A very good time to visit the "temple" (is not a temple, but a palace) is before the sunset (at 5 pm visitors are not permuted to enter). Just bring something to cover during rainy season.

Last time we were here was on rainy season and everything was green. At this time it is so dry. I think there must be a way to maintain this place green. Could be better.

Stunning! it was one of largest complex of Hinduism temple and palace located not far from temple of Prambanan located about 18 km outside of Yogyakarta. Unfortunately almost all ruins but efforts are not to unite all pieces.
