Sewu Temple is located in the Prambanan Temple complex, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Although this temple is visited by few people but it is really a piece of art. Not as vast as Prambanan Temple but it is really beautiful. Sewu Temple is a must see to...More

A bit of a distance from the main temple complex at Prambanan but well worth the walk. There were hardly any other visitors there. Spectacular.

Worth visiting this temple if you're in the area. We enjoyed spending an hour or so wandering around this temple.

UNESCO site, very busy so get there at dawn (around 6AM). Hindu was displaced by Buddhism, thus visit Buddhist monument Borobudur for a perspective. Also get there by 6AM

Honestly i just pass through this temple by rent the tour train inside the Prambanan area. I think if we go walk to this area from Prambanan a little bit far away. But this temple is so beautiful. U have to visit this place.

It's within the same complex as the prambanan temple yet everyone's jammed at Prambanan and no one bothered going over to the sewu temple side. So basically it's like me having my own relax leisure time. Absolutely stunning.

Big shopping malls offer major brands, but it is not too much cheaper than Europe. Durian season starts in November.
