We were keen to see some natural wonders of West Bali National Park from Permuteran and contacted Idriss (a local guide) whose village is located within the National Park. The day before we wanted to to do this he came to our bungalow to work...More
We had an amazing afternoon in the West Bali National Park Forest!! We hooked up with the official park guide Idris (+62 823-4018-5768), who was much recommended on Tripadvisor - and for good reason!! The night before we met him in our hotel to discuss...More
WBNP is located on the far north west end of Bali. It is a long way from the crowds at Ubud and Kuta. We came to watch birds, esp., the Banded Pitta. But if you were to wish some excellent beach, snorkeling, or dive time...More
We decided to go to the national park with the three of us and our guide Idris (see his contact details below in some of the reviews). We had a great experience by walking through the jungle (not too hot) and seeing many black monkeys,...More

You have to pay to enter this National Park 200k IDR (weekday) or 300k IDR (weekend).
After the entrance fee there is an activity fee, which is nominal compared to the entrance fee, 15k IDR upward to 50k IDR.
There was also a large fee...More

The forest is unremarkable with no amenities provided for your $20/day sing admission. No water, no trails, no ablutions and the requirement of having a guide. Quite extraordinary and...More
