Nanjing China presidents Palace is one of the place you should not miss in Nanjing. Its very close to Daxingong subway railway station. Everything is described in English and you need atleast three hours to see everything.
Not a good place to view a temple. It was 40 Chinese dollars each. The temperature was only 29C, but still humidity made entering the buildings a sweaty ordeal. While inside you were met with lots of pictures in Chinese. The building with the english tour...More
This was my second visit. This unique site covers many dynasties and captures many recent historical events of the 20th century - post-Ching dynasty. It has many change of hands among Manchurian, different Chinese political parties and Japanese during their occupation.
The place is big but mostly reminds me of some park. it might take you some decent time to see everything. Unfortunately I was visiting when there were a lot of people and couldn't really enjoy or be impressed
I rate this tour a 4 only because there are no English speaking guides to tell you some of the great stories. Some of the exhibits have English descriptions and some do not. Besides that it is interesting if you are a history buff.
This is the residence of.the former Chinese president Sun Yat-Sen. An audiotour in english is available and does contribute to the experience. We were lucky enough to have a Chinese friend help us out. There doea not appear to be a lot of english support...More
Although admission isn't free I felt that it was worth the price of the ticket. There are a few buildings that make up the grounds and I especially enjoyed the gardens. Great for families, couples, friends as well as those who are solo!
