My private Essential Hong Kong Walk was spectacular! My guide, Daisann, and I were out for a little over 5 hours exploring the local cuisine as well as wandering through markets and the city. It was quite interesting to learn about the history of the...More
We spent an incredible morning with Daniel doing Little Adventures in Hong Kong's "Won-Ton-a-Thon" food tour. We started off visiting one of the oldest shops in the city where they have live snakes that are used in snake soup ( luckily it's out of season)....More

Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of
beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.

We did three different tours plus a pre-arranged dinner. The scope of the information that was given to us was vast...architectural, historical, political, and cultural. The cuisine was just mixed in with all this other knowledge. Little Adventures in Hong Kong is flexible in their planning but they usually want to spend at least the morning or the afternoon with you. We chose some half days plus one whole day because that is what worked for us.
