Very frequent, quick and very cheap (about 25p/30c a crossing). We used it all the time. Our hotel was in Wan Chai - 5 minutes from the Wan Chai terminal, so it was more convenient for us than maybe some folk, but even so it's...More

If you’re travelling to / from Kowloon, I’d definitely recommend taking the Star Ferry. It gives you absolutely stunning views! You can book a tour for around £10 or just hop on the ferry like a local which costs HKD 4 / 40p!!!

A 360 degree way to experience the famous Symphony of Lights show from the water. Easy, fun and fantastic photo opportunities! Friendly and helpful staff onboard.

If you do not need to be anywere else, still take the ferry for a cross over. Cheap, charming and far more efficient than one would expect. These old boats are part of Hong Kong. The lower floors are far more charming, warmer light and...More

An iconic experience if in HK you just have to ride the Star Ferry. Great Harbour views as you cross from HK island to and from Kowloon. And it’s so cheap

We got across the bay quickly it only cost a few bucks. Great way to get around. If we’ve been there longer I would’ve taken the ferry to other destinations around Hong Kong

A historical must-do in Hong Kong. Very cheap and the perfect way to get a great view of Kowloon and Hong Kong Island.

It is a very cheap, fast and convenient mode of transport from Kowloon to the Hong Kong Island and back. The skyline of both banks will be revealed in front of your eyes.
