The world famous iconic star ferry which helps to cross over from hongkong central to tsim tsat shui. The journey itself is 5 mins but offers great views across the harbour. In service since the 1890s i believe and going strong. Great history !

The upperdeck ride from Kowloon to the Island took less than 20 minutes and cost less than $3HK and provided a wonderful vantage point to see the massive HK skyline. Definitely worth the trip.

again the Octo card is used to pay for any travel in HK, and make sure you swipe both in and out. the ferry is open on all side and gives great views as you travel.

Cheapest and best way to get from Kowloon to Hong Kong Island. You can easily call an uber once your across or walk to other site such as Mid Levels.

There are ticket counters located on the piers where you can easily purchase the tickets. Alternately, I suggest you use the Octopus card, which is a stored value card that you can buy at any MTR station. You can store money... More

We bought single tickets. They only cost 2.7 Hong Kong dollars which is less than 50 US cents. There is a machine that takes cash on the pier. It is very easy and simple. Ticket machine gives change.
