Visited yesterday along with a trip to the flower market which was next door. Gates were chained locked and staff present shooing everyone away. Sign on the gate stated that the park was closed due to avian flu being detected. Didn't stop traders passing goods...More

You can tell you're getting near this place from the noise. Lots of noise. Thousands of birds of all descriptions sitting in little (or sometimes large) cages being bought and sold. They also sell grubs and crickets for the birds to eat. I don;t know...More

Best to get there early in the morning as most of the birds have left by 9am. In addition to people bringing their birds to allow them to "socialize" there are various shops selling bird related goods. Although not as interesting as some Bird Parks...More
