This park is a treasure so close to Nairobi. It's been a wet rainy season so roads are in need of repair, four wheel drive recommended. The rain also means it is not easy to see animals through the lush grass. We went around midday...More

Nairobi national park offers a unique opportunity to observe wildlife within the capital city. Entrance into the park through the gate is handled very efficiently. (Yes, the rate is more for tourists, but worth every shilling). The routes are well signposted without you feeling like...More

It is a good place to find wildlife! Although it is not huge as Masai Mara, it is easier to get a nice safari!

A short drive out of Nairobi’s capital city is the Nairobi National Park, with an open grass plains and backdrop of the city scrapers, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes,...More

The entrance fee was $43 I think. I don’t know the price of you take your own vehicle. Although I would not take my own vehicle. Very muddy. Huge craters in the path.
