My girlfriend and I booked a Mt Kenya hiking tour with Keshi. Organising the tour was extremely easy and super flexible, which made it possible to have the experience at the beginning of our Kenya trip, although our dates changed quite a bit. Keshi´s high quality of service continued with a welcome pick-up at our Nairobi location by John, the flexibility to adapt the tour to our needs on the go, and a wonderful hike through the magical area of Mt Kenya, reaching the peak with the help of Daniel and his team! At all times we felt in the best of hands, had some good laughs, wonderful food and could enjoy the extraordinary landscape to the fullest. We highly recommend Keshi tours, to anyone who wants fair, flexible and beautiful Kenya experiences.

We have just returned from a 2 week Kenya safari arranged by John Safaris Kinaro at Keshi Tours. Our private photographic guide, Karino Lenjir Daniel (Karino) recommended this company and we were very happy with our entire trip. John worked closely with our guide to secure lodges with the most abundant wild life nearby as well as providing an authentic safari experience. From our first contact this company was very transparent and provided fair and honest advice and pricing. Communication with us in the states was easy and always professional. We had concerns about using a travel company in Kenya but all our concerns were totally unfounded. John, our tour planner met us at the airport and transported us to our hotel and stayed with us until we were securely checked in and happy. The next day he met with us, discussed our itinerary and provided us with all the camera gear weight add ons and off road permits we needed for our safari. All transports to internal flights were handled by John and he stayed with us until we were safely on to our next destination. All the internal flights and lodge transportation worked seamlessly and like clock work. John from Keshi called us frequently to check on us at each lodge to make sure our expectations were met. My husband is 88 and has gone on many safaris. He said he felt Keshi Tours went above and beyond our expectations to provide an excellent and memorable safari on the Mara. Do not hesitate to contact this company for a personalized safari or Mountain Trek in Kenya.

Went to Samburu, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli with Keshi tours - everything was perfect. Samburu was a surprising highlight for the quality of the accomodations and closeness of wildlife. But each park had something special and unique, I wouldn't change a thing. Driver was very safe and the car was comfortable. John our driver was used to photographers so would always arrange to stop in the perfect spot to make use of lighting.

I sincerely, strongly, highly, 200% recommend Keshi tours to anyone who’s planning on an African trip. We couldn’t think of a better way to sneak peek into Tanzania and Kenya.
We booked both Mount Kilimanjaro and Kenya safari trips with Keshi and we loved both.
Before flying, John was already very helpful providing info about visa and yellow fever vaccination. And he helped us get proper gear and equipment for mountain climbing when we were in Hong Kong and Moshi.
He even drove for hours from Nairobi to Moshi to just greet us and drop off equipment for us to borrow.
Keshi has partnered with a professional Tanzanian team called Isack Kilimanjaro to guide us on hiking. And thanks to the guides we made it to mountain top safely despite my poor hiking skills and lacking of mental resilience. Both guides, the chef and all porters were super super sweet and helpful. On the summit night when I felt so sleepy and exhausted, my two guides carried my backpack, held my hands and sang almost the whole morning to keep me awake and motivated. I would forever be thankful for this from the bottom of my heart! (P.S., Isack definitely knows how to take the best photos and short videos for us)
The safari trip was equally dreamy. Johnson was our driver/guide and he was truly passionate about wildlife and bird watching. My husband and I were pretty chilled about what animals we could see as it was part of nature’s offering and you really couldn’t force a leopard to be at your desired spot at your desired time. But John went an extra mile to explore and communicate with other guides, and made sure we sighted as many amazing species as possible during the 7-day journey. He was also the gate for us to know Kenya. On the road, he could pretty much answer every question we had about the country, however random that might be - from energy generation to agriculture landscape, from average salary of occupations to the recent election.
Johnson not only was a best guide with superb driving technics and eagle eyes to locate and recognize all kinds of animals and birds, he was also kind and warm. He always kept the vehicle clean and comfy despite the dust and mud we had to go through on the way. He wouldn’t hesitate to help anyone on the way when he saw there was a need. We towed 2 stuck cars and he even pulled over once to help push a stuck car by hand. He’s done a great job and gone far beyond that!! Through his kindness, patience and passion, we learned how amazing Kenya and Africa is. We sincerely appreciated it and look forward to visiting again.

We did the 11 day tour which took in Samburu, Ol Pejeta, Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara and Lake Naivasha. It was brilliant. Our driver-guide Sammy was friendly, knowledgeable and so keen that we had the best time. We enjoyed everything!
Sammy was an impeccable off-road driver, getting us to so many places that we wouldn't have seen if he was less skilled. We also got a day of hiking with a ranger, Joshua, who took us up Mt Satima. Incredible views, but not for the faint-hearted or unfit (which I am!) - after much prodding by my husband and Joshua, we did get to the top though!
All the hotels were lovely - I think Sweetwaters was my favorite as it was luxury glamping so the animals were really close. Also at Sweetwaters and Ol Pejeta, we got to say hello to Baraka, a blind black rhino and go horseriding in the Northern White rhino enclosure - it was a real privilege to see such amazing animals up close. David and Francis, our horseriding guides were also great and matched the experience to our riding ability and how well we got on with the horses.
All in all it was an excellent experience, made better by Sammy's network of people he knew along the way. It was great to learn more about the animals in the different parks and also he taught me a little Swahili along the way.
I cannot recommend Keshi Tours enough, they are amazing!

Dear keshi tours and Mr John ! You did a splendid job ! Nothing next to fabulous !
Your hospitality was incredible !! And services you provided were excellent !
Esp mention for your driver john who was courteous, and helpful and ever smiling in every dire situation.
We with my family has a wonderful time, whether at tsavo, amboseli, masai mara and lake nakuru.
I didnt mention lake naivasha, because we couldnt enjoy as much because it started to rain, therefore we couldnt see the lake properly and had to miss out on the bird sightseeing...Not to mention the way to the boat from the office was awful, and thankfully i was the one who fell instead of my kids or my wife...kindly see that they make a proper way to the lake or else there can be a major mishap...Also the rooms at the hotel was not upto the mark .I wish i had choshen lake naivasha resort instead of sweet lake resort.
Secondly , the tent camp at amboseli didnt do justice to our stay..we had a family tent booked but they gave us 2 separate tents..which became a nightmare later in the night. It had no fencing and no water in the washroom throught our stay...obviously no fault of yours as this was totally the camps mishappenings..Kindly avoid recommending this place to other guests...I know you have plenty of other choices in the vicinity...I was also disappointed for over charging me with soft drinks which they had said was included in my package.
Other wise all in all, a great trip....loads of wilderness and john ( the driver) who went that extra mile to show everything he could for us to make our trip memorable.
The resort ar tsavo was wonderful, all the animal we could imagine were right there under our resort to drink water at moment of the day.
Thank you john....and I hope you go places !! My all the Good wishes to you..
My double , triple whammy.....!!!

Had a fantastic climb of Mount Kenya (chogoria up / Sirimon down) with Keshi Tours - a family business with real heart, soul and skill. All communication with John was fantastic, he helped organise extra gear needed for the climb and was honest, transparent and clear about all costs and logistics. Johns dad, Benson was our guide and he was an absolutely perfect pair of hands to lead us on our journey. Such a wise, gentle and knowledgeable person who I adored spending a few days with. Summiting at sunrise was totally magical and even though some of our group were suffering with altitude Benson knew exactly the pace to keep things going so we could all succeed.
John was super helpful even after the trip helping me with some of my onward plans in Kenya.
Great company.

I chose Keshi Tours for a 5-day trekking to Mt. Kenya - and would do it definitively again! There is a very committed, knowledgeable and experienced crew around which does everything for a good trip. Everything around the organisation worked very well, the communication was outstanding, the service is really good, great food in the mountains, the provided equipment (tent) in a very good condition. It costs probably some dollars more than other operators - but it is worth the money. I would choose them again.

He booked us in at leopard beach as he said this was a much better option than the baobab. The service was horrific from the hotel, so much so that they agreed to give us Half the accommodation (that should tell you how bad it was!) they refunded Keshi a credit note for their hotel and he was supposed to refund us the cash.
Well.
What a joke that was. We are STILL awaiting the money, after being told not to communicate anymore and to trust him, and that he simply does not have the £600 in his business account to give us back.
Every day we have contacted him and everyday we get fobbed off.
Keshi is perfectly adequate at TAKING your money, but if things go wrong, you will have to chase every day to get what you’re owed.
Be warned!

I climbed Mount Kenya - Chogoria route with Benson and 4 porters (David, David, James and Paul). It was a great experience! Beautiful landscape! Very kind and experienced people, good tents and sleeping mat, delicious and much food (and tea). I highly recommend Keshi tours! The retour from and to Nairobi is very useful!
