I've never been so impressed with such a historic time period and place as Karnak - its ranks as high as the Pyramids and the Valley of the Kings - If your going to Egypt those are the spots to go to

Nothing can compare to Karnak temple neither in scale nor in details. It is really an open air museum showing the contributions of pharaohs after pharaohs to this temple. It seems that it is still the largest religious temple in the world and you feel...More

Definitely a must see in Luxor, even worth planning for if you go to Egypt. The sphinx boulevard is magnificent. The size of the structures really surpassed what I expected.
