You take a boat to get there, so it allows for some unique views. This was the last temple visited in a 4 day trip, so maybe I was tired, but it is not as impressive as the other Ancient Egyptian sites we visited. But...More

We did this as part of our Long Cruise from Aswan to Cairo. Short boat trip was nice and cool. Great job protecting it from disappearing in Lake Nasser

Lovely felluca trip there and beautiful construction of love. Be sure to allow time to view it, and just sit and sense the energy, and not arrive near closing time like my group did...lol

It's a must! Finding out about the temple and how it was moved was a highlight. The boat ride is refreshing and enjoyable.
