My husband and I both enjoyed a visit to this temple as part of our Nile River cruise. As was previously stated by others, this was a most impressive nine year undertaking by the UNESCO Nubia Campaign project to preserve this particular temple complex for...More

After visit High Dam, we went to the Temple of Philae and spent time there. really awesome, I have never forgotten the time here. Everything is just a sand before all the temples.

Another temple worth a visit, its on an island so a boat trip is needed, it has been rebuilt on a higher level than originally found because of the flooding of lake Nasser.

Nice short boat ride to get to the temple. Beautiful temple with nice views. There is a small snack area and vendors as you exit.

This temple was rescued from rising waters behind the two Aswan dams. It was painstakingly relocated piece by piece and located on the picturesque island of Agilika.

A must see if you are in Aswan! The temple is very different to others with the most amazing views of the island. Give yourself at least an hour to explore the temple and island.
