This is a lovely hotel. It used to be an Oberoi so expect that level of quality. Just make sure there isn’t a big wedding booked during your stay. We arrived on a Wednesday and so did a construction crew of about 30 labourer who...More

Cairo and Giza are dirty urban sprawl cities gone wild, so staying at Mena house is a great respite from the city. About 200 feet, as a bird flies, from the great pyramids of Giza, about 1000-2000 feet by foot or car. This is the...More

The Marriott Mena House is perfectly located to visit the pyramids. Considering that you get the best light (and fewer tourists) early in the morning and that Cairo is such a large city, it's really worth staying at that hotel to optimize your visit of...More

古式古香的酒店有著寧靜的環境。客房整潔闊落,安靜舒適。 在酒店的範圍內已經可以看到吉薩金字塔,徹夜金字塔能量包圍。體驗非常棒! Antique hotel with quiet and peaceful environment. Guest room is clean and spacious. You can see the Giza Pyramids in the hotel area and can bath in the pyramids energy overnight with staying there. Enjoying the breakfast with the pyramid view is marvelous,...More

This is one of the original hotels in Cairo - or what was on the outskirts of Cairo at the time - founded in the 1860's. Stayed here twice as a weekend break away from the chaos of where we live in Cairo. The gardens...More

Established by a precient Englishman in the 1860's, this now completely modernised hotel run by Marriot retains all of its relaxed but formal 'colonial' charm. Beautifully set around extensive gardens, the rooms can face directly onto the Pyramids ( request) but the real delight is...More

Loved staying in the old part of the hotel for 3 nights. Beautiful rooms. Busy restaurant and buffet breakfast - somewhat hit and miss, but generally pretty good. There had been a changeover to Marriot ownership the week before we arrived which resulted in some...More
