If you find yourself in Egypt, The Pyramids at Giza are a MUST! It was very crowded when we visited, and you MUST be aware of pick-pockets. The extra fee to enter the Great Pyramid is TOTALLY WORTH IT if you are able to tolerate...More
Wonderful place: taxi from the airport to the center of cairo 300LE, average taxi fare in Cairo 30/5 LE, Cairo center to Giza 100LE always haggling, I leave you three photos taken in Abydos and Dendera with an image of an awesome energy, Ghost?
Few times in my life, something could really impact me in such a big scale. I must admit that the 3 pyramids and the Sphynx are a shocking site with its history of 4200 years old. The experience is breathtaking. We had the help of...More
Photos don’t do it justice. This wonder is enormous. You have to stand next to it to really appreciate its size.
Getting the extra ticket to go inside is worth it to experience the cramped quarters and feel what’s its like to explore this ancient...More
Like many, i've dreamed of visiting the pyramids since I was a child. The pyramids themselves are as amazing as you would expect, and well worth visiting. That said, be prepared to be harassed and yelled at by sales people who will lie and mislead...More
The Great Pyramids of Gîza are indeed the greatest monuments of all time.
Once you are at the foot of the Pyramids you instantly realize that those ancient Egyptians who built it must have been brilliant in astronomy, architecture, and fully devoted to wow the...More

It’s very surreal to go from reading about the Great Pyramids to actually see them in real life.
We used Egypt Best Holidays to guide us to Saqqara, Dashur and, finally, the Great Pyramids.
Of all the sites, this is the busiest, but that’s to...More
Well worth a visit, but expect to be a bit hounded by vendors and helpful folks who will take your picture (for money, of course). Opportunities for carriage and camel rides, but be aware of risk as members of our tour group saw a carriage...More

I have been inside the pyramid and it has been quite challenging. The first part of the corridor (600 meters) is all uphill and very low so you have to climb the steps being bent. The second part of the corridor (500 meters) is instead very high and is easily accessible. The problem is that when you finally get to the funeral chamber you realize that there is no oxygen and you desperately need it after that climb. The netrance it is not for those with heart problem or for those with legs problems but absolutely worth the pain it if you are in fair physical condition.

Hello..either book a small day tour from the travel agency with guide, pick and drop from the airport and the entrance to the pyramid complex which is approx 120LE or take uber from the airport as you will end up paying double the cost to a local taxi. Possibility of hiring a guide at the complex may not be there as there is no official guide list so u have to book it prehand. Regarding luggage u try to keep it at the airport as there is no facility at the pyramid complex and u need to walk a lot plus it can be a bit hot too... u need to have atleast 5-6hrs for the entire visit.
