We enjoyed the Christmas Eve service (Jan. 7) at St. Mark's and their hospitable custom of providing a translator if you wished. The Patriarch was present and the tomb of St. Mark is in the crypt under the altar. Quite an experience.

A wonderful historic place to visit. Beautiful architecture, lovely building. I recently visited the St Mark's Coptic Orthodox Church during a trip to Cairo. Nice!
