Great to see how it was in the ruling class in the 18th and 19th centuries. In the heart of Cairo and at a very reasonable cost.

It is really good Palace and it was very good to see how Egyptian Kings had lived. However Salah - El Din Citadel maybe much better and might offer better experience for tourists.

Very quiet, interesting museum- read up about the personal life of king Farouk before you go. It will give a lot of insight on his oddball "collections".

There is huge garden but not allowed to walk over the green while you can sit and have a drink watching the landscap
