Well worth the visit, the view over Cairo is amazing. Go early to avoid crowds. The view from the restaurant below the lookout is great too

Elevator takes max 6 persons, above magnificent view, provided that there's no smog. Restaurant charges minimal LE 150, regardless of order. Only snacks and sweets, but OK.

Expect very long lines when waiting to use the elevators up to the top tower. We went just before sunset (5 pm for the sun setting at 6pmish) and wasn't disappointing. The views were great despite the visiting crowds.
