The most interesting part is the mosque of Mohamed Ali where is also burried. Few of the museums inside were closed for a long period due to renovations. Parking is very limited. It is better to use taxi or Uber.

Spend one morning visiting this amazing architectural complex. It's worth for the Muhammad Ali mosque alone, but it's also nice to stroll through the fortress and look at the pyramids of Giza in the distance.

As you can tell from the others it is very easy to get around the citadel. I would do some research as there is interesting history surrounding the structure. Mike
