This museum basically exhibits photographs and artefacts dating back to late 19th and early 20th century. We spent a mere 3 lari (each) and a fascinating hour here. It's a museum, nothing more or less. If history grabs you, then this place will!

Nice old lady told us so interesting facts about georgian history. She was amazing. And collections of gold ancient jeweleries were very nice.

We tried to visit this museum twice. Both times it was completely empty, no one attending us or explaining what to do or where to go. Mainly an exhibition and some shops. It is worth just a quick walk through.

Cost: 5L The museum is split into 2 section, first the temporary exhibitions and then the permanent. This is what it felt like, an exhibition. It was full of art and models, with a few artefacts, but no descriptions of the history of Tblisi or...More

Very interesting and nice museum. Only downside is that in the mock Georgian houses dark. We had to use a flashlight on the phone, which would examine the small rooms. Temporary exhibitions are held on the top floor, a permanent exhibition, which in addition to...More

This review is quite late. With the very limited display of artifacts it gives the visitor the feeling that the place is an art gallery rather than a Museum.
