    Nice view of the city
Lovely views from the first level itself. You can climb up at a slow pace in 10-12 minutes. It’s a little steep but there are steps and a railing. Of course I was a little too tired to trek up even higher to the next level. The views from there itself were lovely. We had climbed up as the cable car was stopped for sometime due to the windy weather. Of course if the cable car is working, you can use it to come up and then walk down. My sons of course had the energy to clamber up to the next level as well.

    Top city view
On top of the city with an amazing view. You should visit here if you are in town. You can go with aerial tram way & comeback on your foot. There is a church near to it & botanical garden, both are nice. Also there is a zipline, if you want to try

View of the city from top
You can take a tram to reach the fort there is nothing much to see apart from the scenic Beaty from the top. You can walk your way back. Nothing extra ordinary but can have a good view of the city

    Narikala Fortress
Narikala Fortress according to the legend was built by the king Vakhtang I Gorgasali of ancient Kingdom of Iberia.Narikala is an ancient fortress overlooking Tbilisi and the Mtkvari (Kura) River. The fortress consists of two walled sections on this steep hill between the sulphur baths and the botanical gardens of Tbilisi. On reaching the top of Narikala hill by cable car costing 4.5 GEL one-way the view was absolutely scenic on a cloudy morning. From the cable car exit it is a short downhill descent to Narikala Fortress.

    View of the city
The easiest way is to take the cable car to the top. The steps were too slippery as it was raining. When we reached the top, it was drizzling, the view of the city looked cool from the top. There are souvenir shops and cafes at the top. Place to visit to the city view

    A Must Do at Sunset
What a fantastic place to visit. Incredible views over the city, and reachable from the cable car, or walking. We were there at sunset, which I highly recommend. It raised while we were there, however this resulted in a double rainbow !!. If you are fit enough, go all the way around to the left and climb up to the cross, and ledge on the top of the fort. The only negative was they closed the toilets at 6 PM, and would not let anyone use them ( and a lot of people were trying)!!

Definitely worth due to the gorgeous view over the city
This is a place you can access via the aerial tramway, nor far from Europe Square. From here you will enjoy the lovely view over the whole city, can see the Mother of Georgia from the bottom and even buy some souvenirs. Make sure to go on a clear sky day to make the most out of it!

    Fortress with great views
Narikala fortress is the oldest landmark of Tbilisi. Originally it was built in the 4th century, whereas most of walls were built in 8th century. Could not visit inside the fortress, but only saw it from outside. It can be accessed with a short cable car ride. The view from the fortress is quite nice, the whole of Tbilisi city is visible from the fortress.

    Nice place to spend evening
One of the oldest landmarks of Tbilisi, the fortress is a great piece of history. The Fortress can be accessed either via a short cable car ride, or a hike. The cable car charges 5 Laari for a two-way transfer. You also need the Tbilisi metro money card for once to load money. Once you reach the top, the views are quite nice, as the whole of Tbilisi city is visible from the fortress. You can also walk to the mother of Georgia Statue at the top. There is also a botanical garden at the top. Once you reach the top, there are a few small cafes and shops where you can have some coffee and drinks overlooking Tbilisi. It is recommended to visit the fortress in the evening and watch sunset from the top as the city turns red and pink in the evening.

The attraction walking up from the one town us supposed to be ‘closed’. However, visitors can enter the closed attraction as there are no barriers to the entrance . But, at the top of the fortress there is a church that is really closed with the doors all bolted shut . So you only get to see the view from the top. Many people wish to access the cable car and the other attractions after seeing the fortress , unfortunately the authorities in their inexplicable wisdom decides to put up barriers by condoning of the path to the fortress from the cable car . As the fortress and the cable car have a mutual relationship, one relies on the other , people will climb around the barrier to access both attractions . This is dangerous as it is on a steep slope . Hope the authorities really look into this as this is really haphazard planning by these people that affects the safety of visitors . Hence the 1 star .

It is a great place for those who want to walk the streets of the old city and hear the history of one of the oldest cities, which is intertwined with the history of this country itself.

The historic fortress is falling apart. You get some cool views of the city from the fortress and it is interesting but it needs some restoration.

The easiest way to get up there is to take the cable car in the area the Peace Bridge. Along the way you get arial views of the old city and the river. The Fortress has a very long history and was in possession of everybody who ever occupied Georgia : Iberian Kings, Persians, Umayyad Arabs, Mongols, Soviets. From the top you look down on old city with the Sulphur baths on one side, the Botanical Gardens one the other.
Within the fortress walls you'll also find Kartlis Deda Statue, Mother of Kartvel, and St Nicholas Church.
