Synagogue is open from 10 am to 1 pm. Beautiful authentic old synagogue. Also interesting photo exhibit.

Nice building, well upkept. Has some good photos showing the history but may need to read guide book or have a guide to find our more details Lovely teak furniture as well

I was really surprised to learn that there is a synagogue in Yangon much less to find it so nicely preserved. Very peaceful and calming to sit in the pews.

Musmeah yeshua is very iconics place. This is so beautiful place and it's nice place for traveling. We went to this place for traveling.

I was lucky to meet Sam Samuels and a visitor from Australia whose grandmother was born into the Yangon Jewish community. Mr. Samuels brought out the original birth registry where her birth was listed by hand in 1900. Busy street but easy to find.

Synagogue is located in a small street - however visible from the main street. At least when you know what are you looking for. And there are some signs showing the direction. Beware that it is closed on Sundays.

Wish we could have met Sammy (the Shalom Tour travel agent who organized our entire trip) who is guardian of synagogue. He could have given more context. The synagogue, located in the Muslim quarter, has poster boards with families and their Jewish life in Burma....More
