Impressive

Such a lovely little park, surrounded by so many nice buildings - it is well worth taking the time to come and visit this area - lots to see in such a small space.

How lovely architecture
Dec 2019 • Couples
That's beautiful building of British Queen Anne style architecture in the heart of Yangon. Very attractive color and lovely clock tower is very impressive. This building is restricted to passing through inside and there is no access for the publicity.

Bygone colonial grandeur
Sep 2019
The former High Court building in Yangon is an archetypal structure that reflects the British colonial legacy. It is similar to the judicial complexes in Manchester or Birmingham. Intact though dilapidated, the abandoned government office forms a unique cultural landscape in the former Burmese capital.

Colonial building
Oct 2018 • Couples
Once this was the Supreme Court of Burma, delivering British justice to the whole country. Now it is the High Court of Yangon. It is a lovely red indo-saracenic style building and a delight to see. You can get a photographic view from the Maha Bandula Park as well as from the Pansodan street. For a photo and architecture enthusiast, the walk is definitely worth it!
