17 usd for small, ordinary cascades.. Come on, tourist trap. Dont spend here your time and money. Head for the beach at Mele or even Hideaway island, another tourist trap but with excellent waters and snorkelling.
This lovely oasis was once owned by a Ni Vanuatu family. Sadly, after Cyclone Pam visited Port Vila, a significant amount of water damaged the property and diverted away from Mele’s falls once it was fixed up.

Out nearly 2 year old daughter was able to walk all the way to the top, so very family friendly.

I would say it would depend on the time of year. We went after an extended drier period so the water level on the crossings were very low and it shouldn’t be too difficult. As one advisor suggested, take your time, but also stay close or even carry him for the more difficult parts of the walk/climb.
