This is a great place to go and learn more about Vanuatu and it's beautiful people. The local artists are more than willing to show off their talents

It is a very tiny museum, however, well worth the visit especially if Edgar is your guide. His knowledge and also ability to perform sandrawing and play a native instrument - is added bonus. Make sure you find out when these 'tours' on and be...More

Unlike the sorry little place in Honiara, Solomon Islands, this is quite an impressive collection of artefacts in an impressive building. What made the visit truly special for us was the bonus of watching a docent completing several sand drawings in front of us.

Hardly worth the 1000vt admission price. Some interesting cultural dress displays but not enough context of which tribe or region was depicted nor chronological context. The photos on display in the National Library next door were as interesting and free.

Fabulous museum telling stories of island history. I was especially fortunate to be there when some local primary school kids came in and began some sand drawing. To see geckoes and other creatures drawn so quickly with greta expertise was quite thrilling. Young kids taking...More

This was our second visit to the Cultural Center as we wanted to share Port Villa's history with our sons. While it is relatively small the centre is packed with interesting stories, artifacts and displays. The curators are friendly and very happy to share information...More

Hey there! I'm a current volunteer at VKS. It's 1000 vatu or $10USD for general admission, 1500 if you'd like a guide (he does all of the sand drawing, flute playing, etc)....definitely worth the extra 500 vatu!
