Our centre contains a lot of masks and native implements but gives you an insight into Vanuatu. We were lucky to experience the sand drawings, fantastic.

Some good exhibits and friendly staff but they need to invest in some windex and lighting. Some of the displays are very hard to view due to dirty glass and poor lighting. Also a little hard to find as not signed very well.

Much enjoyed my visit to the Cultural Centre. The demonstration of sand drawing and local music by Edgar was excellent. The centre is showing some wear and tear and occasionally it was hard to make out some of the exhibits. Worth seeing when in Port...More

This place can be hard to find, but is worth the effort. It has a long way to go but it is informative, friendly and has some good exhibits and a fascinating live demonstration of sand drawings.

Great little museum with loads of cultural displays. Sand drawing is first class and quite mesmerising to watch. Well worth a visit.

Hey there! I'm a current volunteer at VKS. It's 1000 vatu or $10USD for general admission, 1500 if you'd like a guide (he does all of the sand drawing, flute playing, etc)....definitely worth the extra 500 vatu!
